New Song Competition 2024

Thank you to all those who submitted a song for our 2024 New Song Competition! We had 74 entries! Our judges will be working hard over the coming months to select three winners. Please pray for our judges:

Dennis Allen, three-time Dove-Award Winning arranger and composer

Emily Martin, songwriter and worship-leader

Daniel Doss, former staff writer with Word Worship (WORD/CURB)

The winners will be contacted in late March or early April. The judges may suggest a few edits or rewrites for the winning songs, and the winners will be consulted about how the songs will be introduced live. Each winning song will be introduced live for congregational singing at the 2024 SBCMC Conference at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 21-23, 2024, and sheet music will be published through www.sbcmc.org.
